Welcome to my site! I built this to display some of my creative work over the years. I'd love to connect to work on any creative projects, but specialize in writing profiles and photographing dogs. I also am well versed in Canva, and love creating graphics to be used in many different ways.
My Story
I’m Gabriella, a Social Media Specialist Contractor at Workday. I focus on operations and storytelling in organic social promotion across multiple platforms and channels.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area and went to school at the University of California, Irvine, where I majored in Literary Journalism and Classics with an emphasis in Classical Civilizations. My love for reading didn't end when I got my degree—I'm currently aiming to read 200 books this year, so I'm always open to recommendations.
In 2013, I started volunteering with Canine Companions, a service dog organization providing fully trained dogs to disabled people free of charge. I have assisted in training future service dogs and supporting public events for outreach, education, and fundraising. In 2018, my mother and I became Breeder Caretakers and whelped and fostered eight litters (and counting!). I have also created and run ten Facebook pages related to various litters and breeders. Now, we both serve as Breeder Caretaker Mentors for the South Bay Area, providing support to new breeder caretakers as they navigate their first litters.
